This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa was purchased by the seller in 2023 and now shows 20k miles. The car is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Guards Red over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a black removable targa roof panel, a Nakamichi stereo, aftermarket door speakers, cruise control, power windows, and automatic climate control. Work completed in 2023 has included replacing the tires, rear brake pads, brake lines, fuel hoses, fuel filter, and spark plugs. The six-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The transmission and timing chain covers were resealed, the valves were adjusted, and the oil feed lines, valve cover gasket, firewall insulation, drive belt, and exhaust gaskets were replaced in 2018. The fuel hoses, fuel filter, and spark plugs were replaced in 2023.
