This 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S has been registered in California since new, and it was purchased by its current owner in 2019. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed AMG dual-clutch transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Designo Magno Selenite Grey over two-tone Nappa leather upholstery, the car was optioned with the AMG Dynamic Plus, AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber, Exclusive Interior, and Lane Tracking packages. Additional equipment includes carbon-ceramic brakes, 19″ and 20″ forged AMG wheels, a multi-mode exhaust system, Parktronic, a panoramic roof, heated AMG Performance seats, Keyless-Go, carbon-fiber interior trim, and a Burmester high-end sound system. The AMG GT features an aluminum space frame with aluminum bodywork and a magnesium hood. This example is finished in Designo Magno Selenite Grey (297) and was optioned with the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber package, which added gloss-black trim and a carbon-fiber front splitter, fender-vent fins, mirror housings, and rear valance. Additional exterior details include LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof panel, illuminated door-sill panels, and front and rear Parktronic sensors in addition to a rearview camera, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual polished exhaust outlets. Forged AMG 19″ front and 20″ rear 10-spoke wheels are wrapped in 265/35 and 295/30 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, respectively. Optional carbon-ceramic brakes with gold-painted calipers are fitted, and the car came equipped from the factory with adaptive AMG Sport suspension.
The heated and power-adjustable AMG Performance seats are upholstered in two-tone Exclusive Nappa leather with contrasting stitching, and the dashboard, center console, and door panels are trimmed to match. Matte carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include the Exclusive Interior package’s extended ambient lighting and black Dinamica headliner as well as a Burmester high-end sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, Keyless-Go, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The Dinamica-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with shift paddles and frames a yellow-scale 220-mph speedometer, a matching tachometer, and a central configurable digital display.
