1952 Chris-Craft 17′ Sportsman

This 1952 Chris-Craft is a 17′ Sportsman model that was acquired by the current owner in 2021 and refurbished as part of a project completed in 2024. Work involved resealing, refinishing, and varnishing the hull as well as rebuilding the 221ci Chris-Craft model K inline-six and Zenith updraft carburetor. The engine drives a single bronze propellor through a forward/reverse transmission, and the electrical system has been converted to 12-volt operation. The fore and aft cockpits feature cushions upholstered in red vinyl, and further details include a split windscreen, a stern-mounted flag holder with a US flag, and navigation lights. The accompanying dual-axle trailer was also refurbished under current ownership and features a manual winch, a tongue jack, and street lighting. This Sportsman is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a duplicate Michigan title for the boat and a bill of sale for the trailer.
