This 2009 Pontiac Solstice is a pre-production GXP coupe, and it is said to be one of six such cars finished in Sly. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter Ecotec inline-four paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it features the GXP Club Sport package, 18″ polished aluminum wheels, fog lamps, power side mirrors, a rear spoiler, Ebony leather upholstery, air conditioning, sport metallic pedals, Bilstein shocks, StabiliTrak stability control, a removable roof panel, sport bucket seats, and a CD stereo. This pre-production Solstice GXP has 32k miles, and it is now offered with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Sly (42U) and features a color-matching removable roof panel in addition to a rear spoiler, integrated fog lamps, power-adjustable side mirrors, dual polished exhaust outlets, and bright door handles. Paint chips are noted by the seller.
Polished 18″ five-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle Sport tires. The GXP Club Sport Package added four-wheel independent Sport-tuned suspension, and the car is also equipped with Bilstein shocks and StabiliTrak stability control.
The cabin features sport bucket seats trimmed in Ebony leather with GXP embroidered on the backrests. Interior appointments include a CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, sport metallic pedals, and power windows. A portion of the passenger’s door weatherstripping has black tape covering it, while the finish on the driver’s interior door handle is peeling. A replacement piece is included in the sale.
The RPO sticker is shown above, and it includes code OAR, indicating a pre-production model.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel wears a cover and fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer indicates 32k miles. The turn signal lever was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The forward-hinged hood covers a turbocharged 2.0-liter Ecotec inline-four that was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The water pump was replaced in July 2018, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a positraction limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
