This 1991 Honda CRX Si was initially sold in Texas and spent time in Connecticut through the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2012. It is finished in white over black cloth upholstery and is powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a cold air intake, a tubular stainless-steel header, a high-performance exhaust system, four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, 14″ alloy wheels, a power sunroof, crank windows, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo. Service in 2023 reportedly included changing the oil and overhauling the brakes. This CRX Si shows 235k miles and is offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean Connecticut title.
The car was refinished in white under previous ownership and features a power sunroof, bodyside moldings, a rear window wiper, and a single exhaust outlet with a polished finisher.
This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in April 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.
Silver-finished 14″ alloy wheels wear 195/60 Lionhart LH501 tires. The car is equipped with front and rear double-wishbone suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The braking system was reportedly overhauled in 2023.
The bolstered bucket seats are upholstered in black cloth with striped inserts and appointments include crank windows, a rear cargo cover, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo linked with a Sony amplifier, and aftermarket speakers. The car was factory-equipped with air conditioning but various system components have been removed.
Instrumentation consists of a 125-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as supplementary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. An auxiliary voltage gauge is mounted beneath the factory instrument cluster. The six-digit odometer shows 235k miles.
The fuel-injected 1.6-liter D16A6 inline-four features a cold air intake, a tubular stainless-steel header, and a replacement exhaust system. The catalytic converter has been removed. Work under current ownership is said to have included rebuilding the cylinder head and replacing the engine mounts and gaskets. The oil was most recently changed in 2023 and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.
