1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe 6-Speed

This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe was purchased by the seller from the original owner in August 2016, and it has registration history in California since new. The car is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and it is finished in Arena Red Metallic over Cashmere Beige partial leather. Bilstein PSS10 adjustable coilovers have been installed, and equipment includes the Motor Sound Package, 18″ hollow-spoke “Technology” wheels, a power-operated sunroof, a Becker-Porsche CR-210 radio, a remote six-disc CD changer, cruise control, and air conditioning. The engine was removed and resealed in April 2024, and the clutch was replaced at that time. This 993 C2S is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, service records, tools, an air compressor, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The 993 C2S featured wider bodywork, a split rear grille, and revised bumper covers and side skirts in comparison with the contemporary Carrera. This example is finished in Arena Red Metallic (L84S) and features headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. Stone chips with touch-up paint are noted up front and on the fenders, and the underside of the front bumper cover shows scrapes. Photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 93k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The odometer was repaired in 2015, and total mileage is unknown.
