This 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible has 1,800 miles and is one of 500 C7.R Edition examples produced for the US market that was designed as a homage to Corvette Racing C7.R race cars. Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 linked with a seven-speed manual gearbox and an electronic limited-slip differential, it is finished in Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat over Jet Black upholstery. The car was optioned with the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group, black 19″ and 20″ Z06 alloy wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, a black convertible soft top, xenon headlights, a rear spoiler, carbon-fiber ground effects, front curb-view parking cameras, heated and ventilated Competition Sport bucket seats, a performance data recorder, navigation, a head-up display, and a Bose sound system. Purchased by the seller in 2017, this C7 Z06 is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, two keys, a battery tender, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The C7.R Edition was available in either Corvette Racing Yellow or black. This example is finished in the former, and C7.R-specific trim includes a carbon-fiber ground effects package, an exposed carbon-fiber hood insert, and an exterior graphics package. Additional exterior details include a black convertible soft top, xenon headlights, splitter end plates, front curb-view parking cameras, a rear spoiler with an adjustable wickerbill, and quad exhaust outlets.
Black-finished 19″ and 20″ Z06 alloy wheels feature yellow accent stripes and are mounted with staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The heated and ventilated Competition Sport bucket seats are upholstered in Jet Black leather with microsuede inserts and contrasting yellow stitching that extends to the center console, dashboard, and door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and interior features include a head-up display, a Bose sound system, keyless-entry, a performance data recorder, C7.R-branded door sill plates, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
The sueded microfiber-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a digital display with an integrated tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 1,800 miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added under current ownership.
The supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 is equipped with a dry-sump oil system and a multi-mode exhaust, and it was factory rated at 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed at approximately 1,500 miles, per the seller.
