2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon AEV Brute Pickup Conversion 5-Speed

This 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was sold new at Capitol Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Willimantic, Connecticut, and was subsequently converted to a pickup in 2018 using an AEV Brute truck bed and removable hardtop. The truck was sold on BaT in September 2023 and subsequently acquired by the selling dealer. Work under current ownership consisted of removing the air suspension and fitting coil springs and 37″ BFGoodrich tires, and replacing the rock rails and left rear axle seal and bearings. Finished in Inca Gold, the truck is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range Rock-Trac transfer case. An ARB front bumper with a WARN winch and halogen driving lights is equipped up front, and the cab features air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD stereo, a roll cage, and high-back bucket seats trimmed in Dark Slate Gray cloth. Further modifications included a Rubicon Express 5″ long-arm suspension lift, 17″ Walker Evans Racing beadlock-capable wheels, a Kilby onboard air system, and a Dana 60 rear axle with an ARB air locker. This modified TJ Wrangler has 30k miles and is now offered in Kentucky with a clean Connecticut title.
