This 2020 Midwest Automotive Designs Ultimate Toy RV EXT 4×4 was built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis. The van is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 linked with a seven-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The van is finished in Jet Black over cream leather, and equipment includes black 16″ Ultra wheels, a dually rear axle, a raised roof, Parktronic sensors, an aftermarket stereo, Distronic cruise control, a campside awning, solar roof panels, a roof rack with a side ladder, a roof-mounted climate control system, a rear spare tire carrier, front captain’s chairs, a cooktop, a microwave, a bathroom, and fresh-water tanks. The current owner purchased the van in 2023 and has since added approximately 5k of the 18k miles. This Midwest Automotive Designs RV is now offered on dealer consignment with a build sheet and a clean Colorado title.
The van is finished in Jet Black with a raised roof, and exterior equipment includes Parktronic sensors, fog lights, side steps, a receiver hitch, a campside awning, solar roof panels, a roof rack, a ceiling vent, a ladder, a roof-mounted climate control system, a rear spare tire carrier, an exterior shower, and tinted windows. The van was built with 30-amp/110-volt shore power hookups, an exterior 110-volt outlet, a back-up camera, and exterior AV prep with HDMI ports and HD TV antenna.
Black 16″ Ultra wheels were included as a $5k option and are mounted with 225/75 Cooper Discoverer tires, with the fronts having been replaced in 2024. The van rides on independent front suspension and a solid dually rear axle, and braking is handled by discs at all four corners. The chassis is equipped with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
The front cabin houses swiveling and massaging heated captain’s chairs upholstered in cream leather and accompanied by color-coordinated door panels and a black dashboard. Equipment includes Distronic cruise control, crosswind assist, an aftermarket navigation/stereo system, a systems control panel, and air conditioning.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a 130-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, a digital information display, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The rear cabin is outfitted with front-row swiveling captain’s chairs with heat and massage functions as well as inward-facing benches that fold to form a bed. Storage cabinets, privacy blinds, and fold-out tables are also fitted along with overhead lighting, a Maybach-style overhead panel, and a built-in entertainment system with an Apple TV, an internet router, a touchscreen stereo, a BluRay player, wireless headphones, and a sound system. Scratches are noted on interior surfaces, and the carpet around the head unit is peeling back. A middle-row captain’s chair wiring is frayed.
A secondary TV is situated in the door that separates the far rear portion of the van. This area contains a refrigerator, a cooktop, a microwave oven, a toilet, a sink, a shower, and fresh-water tanks. The 13,500-BTU rooftop air conditioning unit can work with shore power. The van is not equipped with a generator, and the rooftop A/C unit is run off of the battery pack.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 was factory rated at 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. A Mercedes-Benz “B” service was completed in February 2024.
Power is routed to the rear or all six wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Freedom Package Lithium Battery was optioned at a cost of $22k.
An included two-page build sheet details selected options and lists a final price of $229,748.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists multiple open recalls.
There is currently a lien on the title, and the owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.
