1974 BMW 2002tii 5-Speed

This 1974 BMW 2002tii is a US-market example that was first delivered to Hoffman Motors in New York, New York, and was acquired by the seller in 2017. It was later sent to BMW Group Classic in Munich, Germany where it was refurbished between 2020 and 2022. Work totaling over $130k included refinishing the body in Fjord Metallic, overhauling the interior, and rebuilding the engine and gearbox. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection, 13″ FPS aluminum wheels, an earlier-style grille, round taillights, and European-specification bumpers. The cabin houses black vinyl-trimmed seats and features a push-button radio and a replacement three-spoke steering wheel. The car was refinished in Fjord Metallic during the refurbishment, which included disassembling, repairing, and E-coating the body. The 13″ FPS aluminum wheels were added during the refurbishment and are mounted with 185/70 Dunlop Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
