This 1959 Chevrolet El Camino was refurbished under prior ownership and is finished in black over a red interior. Power is provided by a 265ci paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, and features include red-accented moldings, 14″ steel wheels, and chrome bed rails. It is also equipped with an AM radio, a heater, a bench seat, and red and black carpets. This El Camino was acquired by the owner in 2015 and is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Arizona title.
The body was refinished in black during the refurbishment in 2019 and features red-accented side moldings, chrome bed rails, and “cat’s eye” taillights.
Black 14″ steel wheels wear bowtie-branded center caps and are mounted with American Classic narrow-whitewall tires. A full-size spare is mounted beneath the bed. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners.
The front bench seat is upholstered in red vinyl and is joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, headliner, and door panels. Equipment includes a heater, a push-button radio, and red and black carpets.
The two-spoke steering wheel has a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 1k miles, which is said to be the mileage added since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
The 265ci V8 features a Rochester carburetor and an orange-finished engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement aluminum Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.
