This 2011 Mercedes-Benz G550 is a black-over-black example that was purchased new by the current owner at Crown Eurocars of Saint Petersburg, Florida and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 linked with a seven-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and three locking differentials. The truck was optioned with a sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, a back-up camera, 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, a heated rear bench, a heated steering wheel, navigation, and a Harman Kardon sound system. This G550 has 87k miles and is now offered in North Carolina on dealer consignment with a window sticker, a first-aid kit, the owner’s manual, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The truck is finished in black and has bi-xenon headlights with washers as well as a sunroof, fog lights, rear parking sensors, a front brush guard, running boards, side-exit exhaust tips, and a rear window wiper. “Moderate damage” is listed in a July 2018 entry of the Carfax report, and the seller states the front bumper cover was refinished as a result. The front grille surround has a crack, and an indentation is located above the right taillight.
The 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels wear 265/60 Michelin LTX M/S tires that were mounted in preparation for the sale. A spare tire carrier is mounted on the swing-out rear cargo door, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats feature position memory settings and are upholstered in black leather, while wood trim accents the cabin. Interior appointments include a back-up camera, a heated rear bench, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon sound system, a CD stereo, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The left-rear door handle is loose, the cargo cover bar is scratched, the tailgate leather has a tear, and the “Harman Kardon” script on the right-front door panel is loose.
The heated leather- and wood-trimmed steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 87k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.5-liter M273 V8 was factory rated at 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. The truck passed a California emissions inspection in June 2023, and an oil change was performed in January 2024.
