This 1977 Jeep CJ-7 Golden Eagle was acquired by the seller in 2015 and was subsequently refurbished. Work consisted of removing the body from the frame, installing a replacement body tub, fenders, hood, grille, tailgate, windshield frame, and dashboard, repainting the body and wheels, powder coating the frame, retrimming the interior, applying Golden Eagle graphics, and rebuilding the engine and axles. Finished in black over black Levi cloth the vehicle is powered by a 304ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a roll bar, power steering, power front disc brakes, 15″ eight-spoke wheels, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, an Accel distributor, Hedman exhaust headers, and a heater. This CJ-7 is now offered with refurbishment photos and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.
A replacement body tub, fenders, hood, grille, tailgate, windshield frame, and dashboard are said to have been installed during the refurbishment and the truck was repainted in black under current ownership. Details include a roll bar, Golden Eagle graphics, Levi’s badging, hood latches, dual side mirrors, black wheel arch flares, front tow hooks, and dual exhaust outlets.
Gold-finished 15″ eight-spoke wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ white-letter tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were retrimmed in black Levi cloth upholstery. Interior elements include a passenger grab bar, Jeep badging, gray carpeting, and a heater.
The steering wheel fronts a 90-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 102 miles, all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 304ci V8 was rebuilt under current ownership and features an Edelbrock intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, an Accel distributor, Hedman long-tube exhaust headers, and a thermostatic fan.
Power is routed to all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential. The axles are said to have been rebuilt under current ownership. An aftermarket dual exhaust system has been fitted.
