This 1966 Dodge Charger was delivered new to the Dodge Regional Office in Kansas City, Missouri, and it was purchased by the current owner in 2018 and subsequently underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 2021. The car is finished in turquoise over black vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a 426ci Hemi V8 paired with a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission and a Sure-Grip rear end with a 3.23:1 final drive. Equipment includes dual Carter four-barrel carburetors, an aftermarket oil pan, a custom skid plate, a dual exhaust system with headers and electric cutouts, power-assisted drum brakes, power steering, Magnum 500–style 14″ wheels, a rear spoiler, and a RetroSound stereo. This first-year Charger is now offered in Canada by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with build cards, manufacturer’s literature, spare parts, refurbishment photos, 1966–67 Dodge Charger Registry documentation, and Ontario registration.

Chrysler manufactured 468 examples of the Charger with a 426 Hemi V8 for the 1966 model year. Delivered from the factory in Medium Turquoise Metallic (KK1), this vehicle underwent a color change to red under previous ownership. The car was disassembled and bodywork was performed during the aforementioned refurbishment before it was repainted in its factory color. Details include a fastback roof, concealed quad headlights, faux quarter-panel scoops, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, a silver-colored rear spoiler, 426 Hemi badging, and bright trim on the side moldings, rocker panels, wheel arches, and grille. The driver-door key tumbler does not unlock.

Magnum 500–style 14″ wheels feature faux-knock-off centers, and they are mounted with 225/70 Milestar blue-line tires. The woodgrain three-spoke steering wheel frames electroluminescent instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature are said to read inaccurately. The five-digit odometer was reset during the refurbishment and shows 4k miles; total mileage is unknown.

The 426ci Hemi V8 is equipped with dual Carter four-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 425 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. The engine was rebuilt during the refurbishment, and an aftermarket oil pan was installed. The engine is said to have been subsequently removed and resealed in late 2023.
