This 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP is one of approximately 1,830 examples produced, and it has 16k miles. Finished in Panther Black Metallic over Onyx and Red leather, the car is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 linked with a six-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a Corsa cat-back exhaust system, a sunroof, fog lights, a rear spoiler, a FE3 Sport Performance Suspension System, Brembo front brakes, 19″ Y-spoke alloy wheels, heated front seats, a Blaupunkt 11-speaker sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Purchased by its current owner in February 2022, this G8 GXP is now offered with a reproduction window sticker, service manuals, a car cover, the removed exhaust system, a spare set of wheels, and a Michigan title.
The car is finished in Panther Black Metallic (80U) and features a GXP-specific front bumper cover and rear diffuser as well as a sunroof, fog lights, dual hood scoops, fender vents, and a rear spoiler. Imperfections are noted on the decklid and on a door and are also shown in the gallery.
The 19″ Y-spoke alloy wheels were sourced from a Cadillac CTS-V and are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires. All G8 GXP models were equipped from the factory with the FE3 Sport Performance Suspension System, which included stiffer springs, re-valved dampers, and a thicker rear sway bar than standard models in addition to Brembo front brake calipers. A spare set of 19″ Y-spoke alloy wheels is included in the sale, and they are shod with Bridgestone tires. The removed lug nuts will also accompany the car.
The bolstered heated front seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in Onyx and Red leather. Appointments include a Blaupunkt 11-speaker sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, a leather-wrapped shift lever, and automatic climate control. A GXP plaque has been added to the center stack.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 16k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was factory rated at 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. A Corsa cat-back exhaust system has been added. The oil was changed in June 2023. The removed exhaust pieces will accompany the car.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows at least one open recall.
There is currently a lien out on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
