This 1989 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced, and it shows 22k miles following registration history in California since new. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over Crema leather upholstery and is powered by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, an aftermarket exhaust system, convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, an aftermarket stereo, power windows, and air conditioning. It was purchased by the seller in 2020, and work performed since has included replacing timing belts, timing belt tensioner, fuel filter, drive belts, spark plugs, fuel injectors, ignition coils, and battery. This 328 GTS is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a removable black roof panel. Additional exterior details include pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, dual side mirrors, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Micheline Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs with ABS, which was introduced to the 328 in the middle of 1988 model-year production.
The seats are trimmed in Crema leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, an aftermarket CD stereo, power windows, a rear-window defroster, and R134a-based air conditioning. Wear is noted on the carpeting.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. An aftermarket exhaust system has been added, and work performed in 2020 included replacing timing belts, timing belt tensioner, fuel filter, drive belts, spark plugs, fuel injectors, ignition coils, and battery. The battery was replaced in 2023 and an oil change was performed in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle fluid was changed in 2020.
