This 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was specified in Iridium Silver Metallic over gray leather, and it was optioned with the AMG Sport Package, bi-xenon headlights, heated multi-contour seats, and Keyless-Go. It is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a power-folding hardtop, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a Bose sound system, and COMAND with navigation. This R230 has 87k miles and was acquired by the selling dealer in June 2024, and it is now offered in Pennsylvania with the owner’s manual and a clean Ohio title.
The car is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) and features a power-folding convertible hardtop, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, fender air vents, and the AMG Sport Package, which added revised bumper covers and aerodynamic side skirts. The trunk lid supports were replaced in January 2023. The Carfax report notes damage in a November 2009 entry.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Sumitomo HTR Z III tires. The car features Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Automatic Slip Control (ASR). The front brake pads were replaced in May 2024.
The cabin features heated multi-contour seats trimmed in gray leather, while burl walnut veneer accents the center stack and door panels. Equipment includes seat memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, a remote CD changer, Keyless-Go, and COMAND with navigation.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 87k miles.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs and hood prop struts were replaced in January 2023 and an oil change was performed in May 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
