This 1973 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 Super was sold new in Europe and imported to the US in the early 2000s. The car was acquired by the seller in 2020, and subsequent refurbishment work involved performing rust repair, repainting the body in dark blue, and retrimming the interior in tan vinyl. Power is provided by a 1.3L twin-cam inline-four fitted with dual Weber carburetors, and shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes 14″ steel wheels and Carello headlights along with a wood-rimmed steering wheel and a Becker AM/FM cassette stereo. This Tipo 115.09 is now offered with a clean Louisiana title in the seller’s name.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia was designed by Giuseppe Scarnati, and this example underwent rust repair prior to being repainted in its current shade of dark blue under current ownership. Carello headlights are fitted up front, and further exterior details include wrap-around front and rear windows as well as stainless-steel bumpers with overriders.
Silver-finished 14″ steel wheels wear exposed-lug hubcaps and are mounted with 175/65 Toyo Extensa A/S tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin was refurbished under current ownership and features front buckets seats and a rear bench trimmed in tan vinyl that extends to the door panels. Woodgrain trim adorns the dashboard and center console, while the floors are covered by black carpets. A Becker Mexico AM/FM cassette stereo and a heater are also fitted.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Veglia Borletti instrumentation that includes a 200-km/h speedometer with an inset fuel level gauge as well as a tachometer and an analog clock. Auxiliary gauges for water temperature and oil pressure are located ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 76k kilometers (~47k miles), approximately 5k of which have been added by the current owner.
The 1.3L twin-cam inline-four is equipped with dual Weber carburetors. The spark plugs, ignition wires, and engine oil were replaced in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
