This 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer CST 4×4 was refurbished and modified between 2022 and 2024, including the installation of a 6.2L LS3 V8 and a 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission. The truck was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and has since been repainted two-tone red and white with a white removable hardtop while the interior was refreshed with black leather and plaid cloth upholstery. Additional equipment includes 17″ Fuel Rincon beadlock wheels with 35″ tires, a suspension lift, an aluminum radiator, power steering, front disc brakes with Hydroboost, a custom exhaust system, a Pioneer CD stereo, and air conditioning. This K5 Blazer CST is now offered in Washington with a clean California title.
The truck was repainted in two-tone red and white by the selling dealer, who states that the seals and emblems were replaced at that time. Additional equipment includes LED running lights, tinted windows, a removable hardtop with a molded-in roof rack, a bright egg-crate grille, CST badging, a drop-down tailgate, and chrome bumpers.
The 17″ Fuel Rincon beadlock wheels are mounted with Atlander Roverclaw M/T tires measuring 35×12.50″. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and power steering, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums with a Wilwood master cylinder and a Hydroboost system. A suspension lift and body bushings have been added.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that have been reupholstered in black leather with plaid fabric inserts. A replacement dash pad, center console, door panels, and carpets were also installed during the build. Amenities include door armrests, a Pioneer CD stereo, Hertz speakers, and air conditioning.
The aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and tachometer alongside gauges for fuel level, battery charging, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 2,700 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 6.2L LS3 V8 was installed in 2023 and reportedly features upgraded camshafts. An aftermarket serpentine belt drive kit has been added along with an aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers has been installed.
