This 1978 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne is said to have remained in the care of the original owner’s family before being acquired in March 2020 by the seller, who subsequently reupholstered the seats in brown vinyl. It was refinished in white with vinyl woodgrain bodyside graphics and powered by a 350ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Further equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, a receiver hitch, and a removable hardtop with sliding side windows in addition to an Audiovox AM/FM stereo and eight-track cassette player, a locking center console, and a rear roll bar. Now showing 79k miles, this K5 Blazer is offered with Georgia registration in the seller’s name.
The truck was reportedly refinished in Frost White in the early 1990s and vinyl woodgrain side graphics were added under current ownership. Features include a removable fiberglass hardtop with sliding side windows as well as tri-color hood graphics, folding side mirrors, a locking fuel filler cap, and a receiver hitch. Paint touch-ups to the hood and rust repairs on the right quarter panel are noted, and there is a dent in the left quarter panel.
Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 235/75 Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S tires. Mile Marker manually locking front hubs have been retrofitted along with Monroe shock absorbers. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
