The C4 ZR-1 was sold between 1990 and 1995 and featured a wider tail and a convex rear fascia with squared-off taillights when compared to the standard C4 Corvette. This car is one of 16 examples that were finished in Dark Red Metallic for the 1995 model year. Features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, a removable fiberglass roof panel, a removable transparent roof panel, fender aero-vents, and power-adjustable and heated side mirrors. The windshield is said to have been replaced with a reproduction ZR-1 windshield under current ownership.
Staggered-width 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in older Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires. The 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 was designed by GM’s Lotus Group Division and built by Mercury Marine of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Output was rated at 405 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque when new. Work since 2019 is said to consist of replacing the fuel pump, fuel injectors, ignition wires, coil packs, spark plugs, and intake plenum gaskets. Fluid services were performed in 2021.
