1969 BMW R60US

This 1969 BMW R60US was purchased in 2019 by the seller, who commissioned a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in 2021 by Highland Motor Sports in Los Angeles, California. The bike was repainted in black, and the 594cc opposed twin was rebuilt with replacement pistons, valves, bearings, and seals. The suspension and Bing carburetors were rebuilt, and a replacement chrome dual exhaust system was installed along with Denfeld seats. The battery and tires were also replaced, and the bike is further equipped with a four-speed transmission, 18″ alloy rims, drum brakes, a kick starter, headlight-mounted mirrors, locking storage, and a center stand. The drivetrain fluids were changed in May 2023, and additional work at that time included cleaning and synchronizing the carburetors as well as adjusting the valves and ignition timing. This R60US is now offered with a tool kit, two keys, refurbishment and service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
