This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 300GD is a five-door station wagon that was imported to the US and fitted with a 3.0L turbodiesel inline-five before being acquired by the seller in 2021. The truck has been repainted Bronze Brown Metallic over Dove Gray tartan plaid and is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and front and rear locking differentials. Features include a receiver hitch, a Gobi roof rack and ladder, LED auxiliary lights, 18″ G55 wheels, a lift kit, power steering, a Continental stereo with Bluetooth, a Nardi steering wheel, a heater, and rear jump seats. Work in 2023 involved replacing the drive belts, thermostat, valve cover gasket, and fuel filter. This W460 300GD is now offered with service records, spare parts, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.

The Nardi three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 180-km/h speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 94k kilometers (~58k miles), approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. The tachometer is inoperative. The removed stock steering wheel is included in the sale.
The 3.0L OM617A turbodiesel inline-five was installed under prior ownership. Work in 2023 consisted of resealing the oil filter housing and replacing the fuel filter, drive belts, radiator cap, thermostat, valve cover gasket and breather tube, and air filter. A receipt from the work indicates the presence of various oil leaks.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and front and rear locking differentials.
