This 1985 Ferrari 412 was imported to the United States under previous ownership and received a refinish in black following the seller’s 2019 acquisition in addition to interior work, underhood refurbishment, and replacement of the front lower ball joints, lower A-arm bushings, air conditioning compressor, valve covers, fuel pumps, and fuel injectors. Now showing 24k kilometers (~15k miles), the car is powered by a quad-cam 4.8-liter Colombo V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 415mm alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a four-wheel independent suspension, pop-up headlights, a vented hood, quadruple exhaust exits, a Bosch fuel injection system, white leather upholstery, power windows, dual-zone climate control, a MOMO steering wheel, and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD head unit. This 412 was listed on BaT in January 2024 and is now offered at no reserve with service records, refurbishment photos, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name describing the car as a 1980 model year.

The 412 replaced the 400i and featured body-color bumpers in addition to a revised front spoiler and sill panels. The Pinfinarina-designed body received a glass-in repaint in black under current ownership and additional equipment includes pop-up headlights, yellow-lens fog lights, a vented hood, Vitaloni side mirrors, and quadruple exhaust exits. Alloy 415mm five-spoke wheels are finished silver and are mounted with 240/55 Michelin TRX-B tires that show 2019 date codes. The car rides on a four-wheel independent suspension, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The brake booster housing was replated in 2020, and service in May 2022 the lower front ball joints and the lower A-arm bushings were replaced.

The 2+2 cabin was retrimmed in white leather with black piping under current ownership. Amenities include dual-zone climate control, an analog clock, power windows, a rear parcel shelf, and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD head unit. The door panel handles are wrapped in plastic and wear is visible on the center console trim. The three-spoke MOMO steering wheel frames Vegila Borletti instrumentation including a 300-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Additional gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 24k kilometers (~15k miles), approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The quad-cam 4.8-liter F101 Colombo V12 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 340 horsepower. The fuel pumps, fuel injectors, and fuel injector lines were replaced and a coolant flush was performed in 2020, at which time various underhood components were refurbished.
