This 1989 Land Rover 90 is a left-hand-drive example that is said to have been refurbished in Italy before it was imported to the US in 2022. Finished in white over gray vinyl upholstery, the truck is equipped with a front brush guard, an air intake snorkel, LED driving lights, side steps, 16″ wheels, and aftermarket springs and dampers. The cabin features three-across front seating as well as air conditioning and inward-facing jump seats. Power is provided by a retrofitted 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-five linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was previously sold on BaT in April 2022 and was later reacquired by the seller. This Land Rover 90 is offered in Virginia with a clean Carfax report and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in white with black wheel arch flares and was repainted in 2018. Exterior equipment includes a front brush guard, a front skid plate, an air intake snorkel, checker-plate trim, LED driving lights, roof crossbars, sliding rear windows, side steps, rear mud flaps, a rear work light, and a tow ball.
Black-painted 16″ wheels are fitted with 235/85 Winda tires, and a covered full-size spare is mounted on the swing-out rear door. The suspension features aftermarket springs and dampers, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The three-across front seats and inward-facing jump seats are trimmed in gray vinyl upholstery. Air conditioning was added during the refurbishment.
Instrumentation includes a 200-km/h speedometer, a clock, and readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 129k kilometers (~80k miles). Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter TD5 turbodiesel inline-five was retrofitted following the truck’s importation to the US. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. An oil change was performed in April 2024.
