This 2005 Lexus LX470 spent time in Indiana and Kentucky under the original owner until the seller’s acquisition on BaT in July 2021. The truck was subsequently modified with an Old Man Emu suspension lift kit, 17″ Fifteen52 alloy wheels, 33″ BFGoodrich tires, rock sliders, a roof rack, LED auxiliary lighting, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, and additional work included servicing the engine and air conditioning system and replacing the mass airflow sensor and catalytic converter. Black-finished 17” Fifteen 52 Traverse alloy wheels are mounted with 33×11.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The suspension features an Old Man Emu lift kit and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The rear brake pads were replaced in 2022.
The heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, split-folding second-row bench, and fold-away third-row seats are upholstered in Ivory leather. Burl wood veneers accent the dashboard, gear selector, center console, and door panels, and additional appointments include automatic climate control, rubber floor mats, a rearview camera, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay linked to a custom sound system.
The leather- and wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a replacement steering column and frames a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 155k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.7-liter 2UZ-FE V8 was factory rated at 235 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Work since 2022 included flushing the power steering fluid, servicing the air conditioning system, and replacing the air filter, fuel filter, mass airflow sensor, battery, and catalytic converter. The truck passed a California emissions test in June 2023.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Axle seals were replaced in July 2023.
