This 2003 Honda VFR800 Interceptor is finished in red and powered by a liquid-cooled 781cc DOHC V4 mated to a six-speed transmission. It features VTEC variable valve timing and dual stainless-steel mufflers and is further equipped with an HMAS cartridge fork, a Pro Arm single-sided swingarm, black-finished 17″ alloy wheels, and linked triple disc brakes with Nissin calipers as well as a clear windscreen, a two-up seat, a removable cowl, and both center and side stands. The seller acquired the bike out of a collection in 2023 and it now has 4,500 miles. This VFR800 is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, a Corbin two-up seat, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The fully-faired bodywork is finished in red and the bike is equipped with a 5.8-gallon fuel tank, a clear windscreen, a stepped two-up seat, a removable cowl, rear grab handles, and folding passenger foot pegs as well as both center and side stands. Lighting is provided by a quartet of headlights and fairing-integrated turn signals. A prior epoxy repair on the cowl is noted by the seller.
Black-finished 17″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with a 120/70 Dunlop tire up front and a 180/55 Bridgestone tire out back. Adjustable suspension conists of a 43mm Honda Multi-Action System (HMAS) cartridge-style fork along with a monoshock fitted to the Pro Arm single-sided swingarm. The linked braking system is comprised of dual Nissin three-piston calipers mounted over a pair of 296mm front discs as well as a matching caliper paired with a 256mm disc out back. The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
Clip-on handlebars secured above the upper triple clamp frame a central 13k-rpm tachometer flanked by a pair of digital displays that provide readouts for vehicle speed, coolant temperature, fuel level, and time of day. The digital odometer indicates 4,500 miles, approximately 500 of which were ridden by the seller.
The liquid-cooled 781cc DOHC V4 features VTEC variable valve timing, electronic fuel injection, 36mm throttle bodies, and a four-into-one-into-two exhaust system with a pair of stainless-steel under-tail mufflers. Factory-rated output was 110 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was carried out in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain. The clutch-line fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
