This Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster is a Shelby Cobra replica that is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote Aluminator V8 mated to a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and an 8.8″ rear axle and is finished in Ruby Red Metallic with black center stripes. Equipment includes dual roll hoops, tubular bumpers, LED headlights, Simpson racing harnesses, a Vintage Air heater, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, AutoMeter instrumentation, 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood disc brakes. The car was assembled under previous ownership and acquired by the seller on BaT in July 2022. This Cobra replica is now offered with a manufacturer’s literature, build records, and a Washington State title in the seller’s name describing it as a 1965 Ford AC Cobra.
The fiberglass body is finished in Ruby Red Metallic with black center stripes and features chrome tubular bumpers, LED headlights, a hood scoop, fender vents, wind wings, a Talbot Berlin-style mirror, dual roll hoops, a Le Mans-style fuel cap, and side-exit exhaust pipes. Paint chips are present on the front end along with scapes under the front fascia.
Halibrand-style 17″ wheels wear faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires measuring 275/40 up front and 315/35 out back. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The low-back bucket seats are trimmed in black leather and joined by color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. The interior is lined with Kool Mat insulation and additional interior elements include a Vintage Air heater & defroster, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, tinted sunvisors, Simpson racing harnesses, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
The woodgrain dashboard panel houses AutoMeter instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The front-hinged hood opens to reveal a 5.0-liter Coyote Aluminator V8 that is equipped with stainless steel headers and a Moroso low-profile oil pan. An oil change was performed in June 2023.
