This 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 is one of approximately 1,700 North American-Specification examples imported into the US for the model year and is finished in Coniston Green. Power is supplied by a 3.9-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and front and rear air-locking differentials. On the inside, the front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in gray vinyl and accompanied by a Tuffy locking center console and rear storage boxes. Further equipment includes air conditioning, a black soft top, and a roll cage along with a Warn M8274 winch, a front brush guard, checker-plate trim, Bilstein shocks, and 16″ alloy wheels. The truck spent time in Arizona before being acquired by the seller in 2016 and relocated to Nebraska. NAS models were equipped with a roll cage from the factory, and this example features aluminum body panels finished in Coniston Green along with black wheel arch flares. The 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped with 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, and a matching spare is affixed to a swing-out rear carrier. The truck rides on Bilstein shocks, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs. The brake pads were replaced in 2016.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in gray vinyl and split by a Tuffy locking center armrest. A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 31k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership. The speedometer reads high, and total mileage is unknown.
The 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. The idle air control valve was replaced in 2016, while a secondary battery was removed and a starter switch was installed in 2021. The oil was last changed in October 2023.
