The Corvair’s factory independent suspension utilized coil springs all around and swing axles at the rear. The front wheel bearings were re-packed, and the ball joints, outer tie rod ends, front radius rod bushings, front control arm bushings, two of the shock absorbers, and the brake hoses and rear brake shoes were replaced under current ownership.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black vinyl along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include a retro-style push-button radio, a black top boot, lap belts, Corvair-branded floor mats, and a center console with cup holders.
