No Reserve: 1931 Ford Model A Roadster

This 1931 Ford Model A Roadster was purchased by the seller’s father-in-law and refurbished in the mid-1990s with work involving a repaint in blue and black. Power is provided by a Model B–sourced 201ci inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission, and the generator and electrical system have been retrofitted for 12-volt operation. Additional equipment includes a tilt-out windshield, a beige convertible top, a rumble seat, auxiliary cowl lamps, and aftermarket lap belts. This Model A Roadster was inherited by the seller in 1999 and is now offered with spare parts and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body was refinished in blue with black fenders and running boards in the 1990s. Details include a flying quail radiator cap, a tilt-out windshield, a beige convertible top, cowl lights, dual taillights, and rear fender step pads. The convertible top is worn and has been patched. A paint crack and scratches on the fenders are pictured in the gallery below.

This is a relist after the car was listed on BaT in April 2024 and withdrawn due to mechanical damage that occurred on a test drive. Damage to the radiator and header pipe was subsequently repaired; the radiator was re-cored within the existing frame and tanks, and the header was welded.
