This Meyers Manx body is #57 of 100 Classic Manx bodies produced after Bruce Meyers revitalized the mark with his company, Meyers Manx, Inc., in the year 2000. The fiberglass body tub and side panels are finished in red gel coat with a black dashboard and black underside. A metal-framed windshield, an exhaust system, a front bumper, headlights, hardware kits, and a used Volkswagen speedometer will accompany the body. This Manx body kit is now offered at no reserve in Arizona with a Meyers Manx Certificate of Authenticity on a bill of sale.
Production of the original Meyers Manx ceased in 1971. Bruce Meyers founded Meyers Manx, Inc. in 2000, and the company subsequently produced 100 Classic Manx fiberglass bodies. This example is finished in red gel coat with matching side panels, while the dashboard and underside are finished in black.
Exterior components that will accompany the body include a windshield and frame, Manx badging, headlights, and a tubular front bumper.
An exhaust system intended for an air-cooled Volkswagen engine is included in the sale along with a Volkswagen speedometer and additional spare parts.
A tag affixed to the body indicates this is #057 of 100 Classic Manx bodies produced by Meyers Manx, Inc.
A Meyers Manx Certificate of Authenticity is also included in the sale, along with an uninstalled registry tag.
