This 1988 Lincoln Town Car was converted to a limousine in 1988 by Corporate Coachworks of Springfield, Missouri, and subsequently owned by actor Larry Hagman, who was best known for his role as J.R. Ewing on the TV show Dallas. The car later spent time in Utah and Nevada before being purchased by the current owner in 2015. Powered by a 5.0L V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, the limo has a widened rear body and is finished in Dark Cabernet Clearcoat Metallic over maroon leather upholstery. The custom rear cabin has a glass sunroof, wood cabinetry, two bench seats, a television, and an overhead console. Work in preparation for the sale reportedly involved replacing the vinyl roof cover as well as repairing the sunroof, servicing the brakes, and recharging the air conditioning refrigerant. This Town Car limo is now offered at no reserve in California by the seller on behalf of the owner, a licensed motor vehicle dealer, with a Carfax report and a clean Nevada title.
The car left the factory finished in Dark Cabernet Clearcoat Metallic, and a replacement black vinyl roof cover was reportedly installed in preparation for the sale. The body has been widened behind the front doors, and a boomerang-style TV antenna is mounted on the rear decklid. Additional features include bright trim, front bumper guards, quad headlights, opera lamps, tinted windows, and a hood ornament. Work under current ownership reportedly involved touching up the paint and repairing the sunroof. Emblem bore holes are visible in the left-front fascia, the left-rear deck lid face, and behind the wheel arches on the front fenders.
Steel 15″ wheels wear wire-style covers and are mounted with a mixed set of 225/75 black wall tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Per the seller, the brakes were serviced in preparation for the sale.
The chauffeur area features individual seats upholstered in maroon leather complemented by woodgrain trim on the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and cruise control. A console on the right houses controls for the sunroof, rear partition, and intercom. The upholstery on the driver’s seat is cracked and shows wear.
The four-spoke multi-function steering wheel sits ahead of an 85-mph speedometer, a clock, auxiliary gauges, and an array of warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, though total mileage is unknown. The Carfax report notes a potential odometer rollover in December 1998.
The custom rear cabin is separated from the front compartment by a power-operated glass partition and has two bench seats trimmed in maroon leather. Amenities include an overhead control panel, wood cabinets and drawers, ceiling-mounted mirrors, and a Sony Trinitron television housed in a recessed enclosure with a retractable door.
The 5.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The fluids were serviced in preparation for the sale.

A California Certificate of Title dated October 1995 indicates the limo was owned by Larry and Maj Hagman.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage. It notes the aforementioned potential odometer rollover, and that Not Actual Mileage titles were issued for the car in Utah between 2001 and 2004. The report indicates the car was exported to Germany and returned to the US in December 2015.
The car passed California emissions testing most recently in October 2015.
