This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series was acquired by the seller in 2009, and they have since added all but approximately 400 of the 25k indicated miles. The black-over-black car is powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 linked with a seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes an adjustable AMG coil-over suspension, 19″ AMG multi-spoke wheels, bi-xenon headlights, carbon-fiber trim, a Harman Kardon sound system, and COMAND with navigation and Bluetooth phone connectivity. This CLK63 AMG Black Series is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
DTM-inspired flared fenders, carbon-fiber-reinforced front and rear aprons, and a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler were added to the CLK63 Black Series. This example is finished in black (040U) and features bi-xenon headlights, heated side mirrors, fender vents, and quad polished exhaust outlets.
The 19″ AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires measuring 265/30 up front and 285/30 out back. Adjustable coilovers and an AMG Electronic Stability Program (ESP) were standard, and braking is handled by multi-piston AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats trimmed in black Nappa leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The rear seats were deleted in Black Series models, and appointments include aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation and Bluetooth phone connectivity. A Coolstream Duo Bluetooth audio module has been added.
The flat-bottom leather-wrapped AMG steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles, all but approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership. Instrument cluster repairs are noted on the Carfax report in September 2013.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced in June 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
