This 1963 International Harvester Travelall was acquired by the seller in California circa 2010, and it was subsequently modified with Bilstein shock absorbers, lifting blocks, a Dana 44 front axle, a GM 14-bolt rear end, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, a dual-circuit brake master cylinder, PerTronix electronic ignition, an Ididit adjustable steering column, and power steering. Finished in yellow over gray vinyl, the truck is powered by a 266ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a Holley two-barrel carburetor, a receiver hitch, Bilstein front and rear shock absorbers, an aftermarket steering wheel, and a chrome-plated 65-amp alternator. This Travelall is now offered with a copy of the line-setting ticket and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted in the current shade of yellow with a white roof approximately 10 years ago, according to the seller. Exterior details consist of a receiver hitch, chrome-plated bumpers, Travelall badging, and a rear tailgate. The tailgate window is inoperative, the left-front door lock cylinder is missing, rust is shown around the roof drip rail, the front bumper is bent, and additional photos of the exterior condition are viewable in the gallery below.

Black-finished steel wheels are wrapped in Nankang N889 Mudstar tires that were installed under current ownership. Suspension lifting blocks and Bilstein shock absorbers have been installed along with a dual-circuit brake master cylinder and power steering. The seller reports that a rebuilt brake booster was added under current ownership. Braking is handled by discs at each corner.

The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in gray vinyl upholstery and are complemented by a black upper dashboard, replacement door panel inserts, and carpets. An 8-ball shift knob and a fire extinguisher have been added, and the headliner and headlight switch were replaced under current ownership. The radio is missing from the dashboard, the dome light is not currently connected, and the carpet on the transmission tunnel is worn.

An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on an Ididit tilting steering column, and it fronts a 100-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The seller states the ammeter has been converted to display voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership, and the total mileage is unknown.

The 266ci V8 is topped with a Holley two-barrel carburetor that was rebuilt in preparation for the sale. A chrome-plated 65-amp alternator and PerTronix electronic ignition were installed under current ownership, and the seller reports that a Kwik Wire wiring harness with an emergency cut-off switch has been installed along with a replacement battery.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A Dana 44 front axle and a GM 14-bolt rear end with a 3.73:1 final drive ratio were reportedly sourced from a 1980s Chevrolet, and they were installed with the intention of converting the truck to four-wheel-drive, however, a transfer case has not been fitted. Replacement rear resonators and exhaust components have been added, and the clutch was replaced in 2021.

The identification plate above was removed and cleaned following the repaint. The current California title lists a VIN of C1100SB352269A, which is a combination of the model and serial numbers.
