1977 Datsun 280Z 5-Speed

This 1977 Datsun 280Z has been fitted with a rebuilt 2.8-liter inline six and five-speed manual transmission from a 280ZX, and it was refinished in metallic gray over a refreshed black interior. Additional equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, lowering springs, strut-tower braces, a K&N intake system, and exhaust headers as well as an aluminum radiator, a front spoiler, air conditioning, and a Pioneer CD stereo. Following the seller’s purchase of the car in 2016, the carpeting, door panels, and seat upholstery were replaced the following year and the drivetrain rebuilds were carried out in 2021. This 280Z is now offered with service manuals, spare parts, two keys, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The interior received replacement carpeting and door panels in 2017, at which time the bucket seats were reupholstered in black vinyl with 280Z-logo headrest embroidery. Sound-damping matting was added to the floors and ceiling, and additional appointments include air conditioning, a locking glovebox, Datsun- and Z-logo carpeted mats, and a Pioneer CD stereo with matching speakers in the doors and rear enclosures. The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap, and it frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, while an analog clock and readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level are housed in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles and is believed to have rolled over, with approximately 6k miles added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
