This 2003 Lamborghini Murciélago was specified in Rosso Vik over a Crema leather interior with red stitching, and it is powered by a 6.2-liter V12 that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Equipment includes 18″ Speedline alloy wheels, a front-axle lift system, a speed-activated rear spoiler, xenon headlights, automatically deploying rear intakes, automatic climate control, a gated shifter, and a Harman Kardon stereo. The car has 4,900 miles following history in California and Oregon, and work in preparation for the sale included replacing the tires and the front-axle lift system hydraulic line. This Murciélago is now offered by the selling dealer in California with tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.
The Murciélago was designed by Luc Donckerwolke and was publicly unveiled in 2001 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Diablo.
This example is finished in Rosso Vik and features a speed-activated rear spoiler, a pantograph windshield wiper, xenon headlights, scissor doors, rear fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and automatically deploying rear intakes to aid in cooling. Clear paint-protection film has been applied to the front bumper cover, front fenders, and headlights.
The 18″ Speedline alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires. Stopping power is provided by black-finished calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The car is equipped with Koni active dampers, and the hydraulic line for the front-axle lift system was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin houses manually adjustable seats trimmed in Crema leather with red stitching, and the dashboard is covered in black leather. Amenities include automatic climate control, inboard shoulder restraints, and a Harman Kardon stereo.
The gated shifter features a spherical metal knob, and the shifter console also houses controls for the Koni adjustable dampers.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 4,900 miles.
The mid-mounted 6.2-liter V12 was factory rated at 572 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. An annual service was performed in preparation for the sale, and the battery was replaced in May 2020.
