Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium 2015 Review and Price

What a fun car to drive!! In July 2016, I purchased my 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium in Ruby Red exterior and two-tone leather interior. I am not a gear-head, grease monkey, or speed-track enthusiast. I bought this car as my everyday, go-to-work-and-back driver. I LOVE this car!!

It is fun to look at. I get lots of compliments from strangers, family, and friends. It is fun to operate. I truly enjoy the sound system and Bluetooth connectivity to my iPhone. And it is fun to drive. I have consistently gotten 23-25 MPG in town (did I mention it uses regular gasoline!!) and on a couple recent road trips it clocked in around 28 MPG. It has lots of zip, but I don’t speed around too much because when I do, I get to where I am going too quickly and the pleasure of being IN this car is reduced in time! It handles like a dream.

bought this car new 6 months ago. I absolutely love it! I have little over 7000 miles on it. I’ve done 2 oil changes so far. The ride is exceptional! Smooth cruising down the road at 75-80. No drone from the exhaust. Now power… It is a rocket. I won’t say how fast I’ve gone, don’t want to incriminate myself but a few miles over the limit ;). When you turn of tractional control and you get the engine at 5-6000 rpm and drop the clutch. OMG, those seats are really bolted well to the floor. It throws you back with amazing G force.

The only issue I’ve had is where oil seems to disappear from the engine. I changed the oil at about 3,000 miles and on the dip stick I was missing 1 quart of oil!? I just changed it a few days ago and checked I was missing 2 quarts of oil!!?? I might have to bring it to the Ford dealer where I bought it just to make sure its okay. But other then that issue “which may or may not be severe” I love it!

I can’t recommend this car highly enough if you are looking for a legendary American icon at a very reasonable price point and loaded with features (feature-wise, be sure to look carefully at the “Premium” editions of the Mustang lineup; that’s where all the little extras are!).

I have enjoyed going to the drag races a couple times a year in the past. Although, I don't really have anything to prove with this particular Pony. The interior is a much needed improvement over the older models and the independent suspension gives a much nicer ride. I am so happy we made this upgrade.
