Reluctantly parting with my beautiful 1995 Mercedes SL 320 with a little over 85,000 miles. This model has the ironclad 3.2 liter straight six putting out around 235 HP, more than enough to get this little car down the road. Auto transmission, A/C, power windows, locks, etc.
The fiberglass hardtop is removable and you have a fully automatic soft top for summer/ spring/ fall driving.
This car looks great and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
There are a few chips in the paint and minor flaws expected in a 22 year old car, but you won’t find a better looking, more comfortable 2 seat convertible for the price anywhere. Drives like a dream.
Since I bought it from the previous owner, (nice lady author) I have driven it very little. It’s been in my garage while I’ve traveled overseas and only brought her out for a nice summer jaunt through the Blue Ridge. I’m in a bit of a bind and it is just a luxury item for me so I have decided to let her go.
The wheels could use refinishing but there is no real curb rash on any of them. The last time I drove it the tires have gotten a few flat spots on them from sitting in my garage for the last couple of years so there’s a little vibration at highway speeds. The tires could be trued or just replaced.
Time for someone to enjoy her full time, as I am now working out of town again….
These SLs are about as low as they go right now for the going price, and are a great value. Take $7K and see what kind of roadster that will buy you on ebay…. maybe some 4 banger that’s not a head turning great ride like this…
Thanks for looking!
