Steyr were founded in 1920 using a former arms works as a factory. In 1934 they merged with Puch, and since the end Second World War have mostly made licenced built cars. Like a few pictures in this book this one seems to be mis-captioned as a 100, when it’s probably a 220, one of the last original cars they made, FLR102 was registered in London in March 1939 as Styer other 2366cc, currently Not Taxed For Road Use, with the current V5C issued on 26 October 1983. Oddly the 220 had a 2260cc, so it could have been re-engined at some point or someone has the engine size wrong.
