1993 Mazda MX-5 Miata Limited Edition 5-Speed

This 1993 Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of approximately 1,500 Limited Edition examples built for the model year, all of which were finished in Brilliant Black over red leather. The car has been registered in Louisiana and Texas from new, and it was purchased by the seller in May 2018. Work under current ownership has included installing MeisterR ZetaCRD coilovers and replacing the timing belt and water pump. It is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and additional equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, 14″ BBS wheels, a rear spoiler, air conditioning, and cruise control. This Limited Edition NA Miata shows 84k miles and is now offered with a May 2024 inspection report, the owner’s manual, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Brilliant Black and features pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a convertible top boot, a rear spoiler, a power antenna, and a single exhaust outlet. A March 2003 entry on the Carfax report notes that the car was “inspected after an accident or other incident,” which resulted in damage to the rear. The seller indicates that the car was backed into during current ownership, and the front spoiler, bumper cover, emblem, and turn-signal indicators were subsequently replaced. The replacement soft top needs to be adjusted, a crack is evident on the hardtop, the windshield wipers operate slowly, and discoloration is noted on the trunk lid. A May 2024 inspection report is viewable in the gallery, and it indicates dents and finish imperfections on the body.
