2022 Chrysler Pacifica Review and Price

There are some common issues with the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica that Chrysler doesn’t seem to want to fix. The transmissions are absolutely horrible. Hard shifts, jerking, failure to shift gears when needed, etc… These are known issues that Chrysler doesn’t seem to be able to fix. A brand new Pacifica rides like a log truck sometimes. The engines appear to be very fragile. There are numerous reports of head gasket issues, camshaft issues, cylinder issues, etc…

All of these are MAJOR issues that cost big money. Typically these issues start showing up around 50,000-70,000 miles. I have heard of way too many engine replacements on these vans and unfortunately many of them are out of warranty. The worst part about the Pacificas though has to be the Chrysler dealerships. They don’t seem to be equipped to work on these vans at all.

2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited S AWD. (Chrysler).

I am not sure where the breakdown is, but these vans are sitting for weeks and weeks at a time why the dealership tries to figure out what is going on. I don’t think Chrysler has properly trained their technicians on how to diagnose and repair these vehicles. Bottom line, I would avoid these vans.

While they look nice and could be an amazing product, right now they are just lipstick on a pig.

MSRP Starting at $36,665
