2019 Toyota Avalon XLE Review and Price

The upgraded 2019 Toyota Avalon is expected to be improved with more features, high performance, additional refinement and efficient engines.

Now the Avalon has a more sporty and modern character than before. The exterior design is sharper and the driving is precise. The car is equipped with the latest infotainment system that includes integration of the Apple CarPlay smartphone.

The Toyota Avalon 2019 has good power thanks to a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 301 horsepower. The car is comfortable on trips from long trips on the road to daily ones to work and short trips around the city.

Braking is reliable, which provides comfort in everyday use. An amazing feature of the Toyota Avalon 2019 is its incredibly pleasant handling. Although it is not a sport sedan, it is relatively easy to drive on winding roads for a car of this size.

Comfort is a strong point of the Toyota Avalon. All seats provide sufficient cushioning and support for long or short trips. The leather in the finish is very soft and gives the feeling that it is more upscale than it really is. The cabin is very cozy, thanks to the climate characteristics of rapid heating and cooling.

The salon is a worthy place to relax. Roomy and comfortable. Legroom is plentiful, the driver’s position is excellent thanks to a variety of adjustments, and visibility ahead is great. As for the controls, there are two minor issues: the radio setting knob and a couple of functions, such as turning on the camera view, are hidden.

The front seats of the sedan turned out to be a cross between sports and classic. The headrests are narrowed at the top and can be adjusted in height and angle of inclination. There is almost no side support, but this does not prevent a comfortable fit due to the deepened central part of the back. The very base of the seat Toyota Avalon came out spacious with a little support in the area of the knees.

While legroom is a strength, height leaves much to be desired for tall people — especially at the back, due to the sloping roof line.

The touch screen is surprisingly good. There is support for Apple CarPlay, but Android Auto is still missing. The display is bright and responds well to input signals, but Toyota tends to block more features while driving than other automakers.

There is one USB port for data and four 2.1-amp USB devices for power only – two in the front and two in the back. There is also a wireless charging pad on the front console. The voice control functions built into the Toyota don’t matter – they are better versed in radio channels than in navigation commands.

I traded in a 2013 E 350 Mercedes Coupe that I liked a lot. We switched to a 4 door Avalon and we like it a lot. We picked it up yesterday. Over about 200 miles it is getting 46 MPG.
