Just purchased the Model S Performance. Improved efficiency of 345 mi EPA range with new permanent-magnet motor in front. Somewhat faster supercharging at 200 kW (if you can find one; most still 120 kW).
New suspension has markedly improved ride quality, which I think is the best new Raven feature. Went with 19-inch rather than 21-inch wheels for even smoother ride, but wish Tesla offered 20 inch as a compromise.
Also wish Tesla did more improvements to the interior like side-door compartments, ventilated seats (that work), on the exterior a rear LED bar extended all the way across the back like we’re seeing with German luxury cars.
A hard decision but I punted on the Porsche Taycan because Porsche just doesn’t have the technological experience with BEVs that Tesla has accumulated.
OK with 2019 build quality but concerned about Tesla’s financial viability. Plan to wrap my Model S to spice it up a bit; lots of ideas for that on YouTube. Overall the Model S exterior design even six-plus years old remains classically elegant.
