2019 Ford Fusion Titanium Review and Price

If crossovers or SUVs aren’t for you, a Ford with an attractive exterior, a lower center of gravity, and new safety technologies will be perfect for you. Everyone can find something of their own, because there are nine sedan models.

A set of systems “Ford Co-Pilot360 Protect” entered the database of all models in 2019. The modern Fusion has benefited from a redesigned grille, trunk lid, and new led taillights. The Fusion Titanium has received adaptive cruise control.

The Ford Fusion 2019 has precise handling and sports suspension. An affordable 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine for 188 horses helps the car feel the speed. A six-speed automatic transmission is provided to help it. The Ford Fusion changes gears both automatically and with the help of the steering wheel lobes. The car behaves on the road as a normal sedan of medium size, but with a CVT.

The “Ford Co-Pilot360 Protect” safety kit became standard for the Fusion 2019. It includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a blind spot information system, a lane-keeping system, a rear-view camera, windscreen wipers with rain sensors and an automatic high beam. Separately, a more advanced version of the “Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist” with adaptive cruise control, voice-activated navigation and “Sirius XM Traffic” is available.

The Fusion Titanium is also equipped with electric power steering. The steering system is adjustable to give the driver a more precise steering feel at higher speeds and more power to turn at lower speeds. This is a responsive steering system that also eliminates vibrations in bumpy driving conditions.

The interior looks and feels modern. There is enough space for four adults, if necessary, you can accommodate five, but then I will not talk about a high level of comfort. The Ford Fusion dashboard looks simple but stylish. The car has a heated steering wheel, heated and cooled seats, inflatable rear belts, sunroof and adaptive cruise control.

With minor updates throughout the year, the Ford Fusion still embodies the very concept of a mid-size sedan, especially when viewed from the front. The titanium grille has been made fresh by chromium. There are led tail lights and new wheel designs on the car. The Ford Fusion 2019 also offers a large cargo space in the trunk.

Ford Fusion’s safety is enhanced by the available advanced set of “Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist” that complements the basic version with adaptive cruise control, start/ stop system, voice-activated navigation and Sirius XM Traffic. Fuel consumption is about 11 l/ 100 km in urban and 7.4 l/100 km in rural cycles

2019 Ford Fusion Titanium

The 2019 Ford Fusion has all the features of a good mid-size car. Advanced engine options also work in its favor. But there are competitors who are better than him in some areas. For example, the Toyota Camry offers a luxury base engine and a high-end interior. The Hyundai Sonata is also a high-quality example in the category of medium-sized cars. So buyers will have to look closely at each car to find any advantage over the other.

PROS
  • Comfortable sedan.
  • Attractive exterior.
CONS
  • The need to buy the more expensive Fusion may not be clear, while the noticeably cheaper Fusion S is not much different.
