2018 Cadillac CT6 Rear Wheel Drive Review and Price

This car is the nicest car I’ve ever owned. It seems to have just the right amount of everything to make a driver happy. It has the space inside that you’d find in an SUV, it handles remarkably well, really crisp luxurious interior, huge infotainment screen, stereo system is really good (I have the 10 Speaker Bose), the seats are nice and big and plush.
Heated and cool options in seats both work very well. All in all everything this car does, it does right and seamlessly. The 3.6L V6 engine is an all around awesome engine. It has ample power to send this big luxury car flying and merging into traffic with no problem. I did have the opportunity to drive a 3.0TT version of this car and while it was faster, it does not have the same pleasant sounding growl that the 3.6 has; but it is without a doubt faster. So if you want to save some money on this car opt for the 3.6 V6. It’s all you need. I would however love to have a V8 in this car but at $67,000 that’s not happening. I love this car. Also the car gets good gas mileage. Even with my sometimes heavy foot, I’m getting an average of 23mpg.
The one problem is that GM is discontinuing this car amongst others, as of June 2019. They made this announcement and it really made the headlines. All that money I spent and I’m driving a car thats image was just killed by its manufacturer. I get a lot of compliments with this car but I also hear a lot about how I’m sure I wish I knew they were discontinuing the car before I bought it.
That bothers me because it’s true; I do wish I knew beforehand. I probably wouldn’t have bought it OR looked for a very heavy discount to make the fact that this car is “dead” worth it. My advice get the best deal you can; at least $10,000 off sticker for a 2019. They’re gonna say that they can’t do that but believe me they can.
