2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

It’s gorgeous and head-turning, has exceptional performance, and is easily customizable. I knew I had to have a 5th gen Camaro the first time I ever saw one, and know that I will always have this car because it’s got a permanent place in my heart. Did not want the V8,. Specifically was looking for the 6 with a 6 speed in a specific color,. Saw the car with only 690 miles! Got a great deal.

For a 2012 with only 690 miles. Would highly recommend swapping the stock exhaust out 1st. The stock cans are close to 90 lbs. I went with a BORLA system and it sounds perfect!! Nice low grumble. While not being obnoxious like many people do to their exports. The BORLA system also weighs about 39 lbs total, so your shaving off about 50 lbs over the large stock cans.
Unlike previous Camaro models, the suspension is very good. The ride is stiff enough to help with cornering, but not so stiff that is uncomfortable for everyday driving. Also, the handling is fantastic — especially for an American vehicle. However, this is a very heavy car (almost 2 tons). Handling, acceleration, and fuel efficiency would be improved significantly by dropping weight. That being said, even the 3.6L v6 provides enough power (over 300 hp) to make up for the weight and leave you with more than adequate performance for most situations.
